This site describes a service. It is not a contract. What you pay and what we build are set by a written proposal and agreement that you sign before any work starts.

1Who we are

Reassembly is a website-building service of Field Assembly LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company ("we"). These terms cover your use of reassembly.fieldassembly.net.

2Prices and offers

Prices are starting points. "From $2,000" is the lowest build price. Your proposal states a fixed price for your site before you pay anything.
Early-client offer. The $500 reduction applies to the first five clients who sign an agreement. In return, you allow us to show your site as Reassembly's work. The written agreement records that permission. The offer ends when five clients have signed, or earlier if we say so here.
Care plan. The care plan is optional, and its terms are set in your agreement.
Costs paid to others. Your domain registration and any paid services you choose are billed to you directly by those companies, under their terms.

3The free homepage picture

Before you hire us, we may send you a picture of your homepage, rebuilt. It costs nothing and creates no obligation on either side. It may use text and photos you have already published, to show what your own material can look like. We send it only to you, and we don't publish it or show it to anyone else unless you become a client and agree to it in writing.

4Your accounts

You own your domain, your hosting account, and your site's files, as described on the home page. Each of those accounts is also governed by its provider's terms, such as Cloudflare's and your domain registrar's. We work in your accounts only with the access you give us, and you can remove that access at any time.

5Using this site

You may read, link to, and share this site. Don't copy its text or design and present it as your own, and don't use automated means to overload it or the request form.

6Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Field Assembly LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Some states don't allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as that state permits. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit. Your agreement, not this page, governs any project we do for you.

7Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

8Changes and contact

We may revise these terms. The date at the top records when, and we describe material changes instead of slipping them in. Questions go to reassembly@fieldassembly.net.
